Our June/July 2008 baseball roadtrip was our longest driving trip at the time and was our first trip to last a full 2 weeks. We drove as far as Sioux Falls, SD, over 1,360 miles from our home in NY.
Highlights included banging the drum in the Indians leftfield bleachers, visiting the Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, IA, seeing a game in Wrigley Field, and attending the MLB Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium in its final season.
We also added a 4 game swing through upstate New York and New England on Labor Day weekend.
Best roadtrip ever!
